Possibly because camping gates in motherships will pretty soon be an invitation to get your ass kicked in.

An excellent change, in my opinion. Smartbombing noobships and pods and then running when presented with a challenge was just silly. And that's not directed in particular at just Miz.

1. Five fighters are still quite imposing against a single ship.
2. Motherships shouldn't be anywhere without friends. Period.
The Carrier/Mom 'nerf' is outstanding.

Idiot
Originally by: Phantom Slave HIC's, aka Hactors, will be able to load 2 different scripts into their Warp Jammer Sphere thingy (tired, can't remember the name). One script creates a bubble, the other turns it into a Warp Jammer that can stop Cap ships in lowsec.
Much obliged to you

I understand fully that it was profitable, my friend. That was the problem. It was all profit, with no risk. Having to not worry even remotely about being warp scrambled, MS's could operate with near impunity in low sec, the only reprisal coming from flawlessly executed plans that were extremely hard to do.
Now at least there's a somewhat reasonable chance of catching them.
About him supposedly getting an Erebus, well, there may not be bigger fish in the sea, but there's a hell of a lot more of the littler ones.

Five fighters are like 500 dps with max skills. Could probably tank it in a myrm.
And whats the point in nerfing the mom's launchable drone capacity when they will just assign fighters to their gangmates? Sure it's a little bit annoying for the mom pilot (with how buggy fighters are etc) but I don't really get it, you'd be doing the same dps only 4 people would make the killmail. I fail to see how the changes promotes any kind of frontline pvp/support work, if you don't wanna get your mom blown up you assign fighters from just outside a POS forcefield. So what are the changes about? Making life just a little harder for carrier/mom pilots? Or removing all carriers completely from fleet battles (where they can be killed) and have the crows fly around with 5 fighters assigned instead?
What happens when you start killing the gangmates that have fighters attached to them?
